    Our CCS Technology, European Foam Hand Polish Applicators gives the enthusiast working by hand the ability to match the cutting power of the applicator to achieve the best results with the product being used. The working surface of  these pads are dimpled with CCS Pockets. Introduced at Automekanica in Frankfurt, Germany in 2006, Closed Cell Structure (CCS) Pockets slow the rate of polish absorption, gradually releasing polish as needed. This allows the person polishing to work the surface longer before the pad "dries out". This is the same technology used on our professional foam pads for machine application.

    The foam used in the Green Hand Polish Applicator was developed in Germany for use by European automakers to polish the harder, ceramic clear coats.

This foam has a light polishing action for removing swirls yet leaves a smooth, haze-free finish. This is an excellent applicator to use with Menzerna PO106FF and BLACKFIRE Scratch Resistant Clear Finishing Polish on European and domestic scratch-resistant clear coats.     Use this pad with Menzerna Final Polish II, and BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish on conventional clear coats when additional polishing power is needed to remove oxidation, haze, spots and minor defects.
The polishing and gloss restoration properties of this green, German foam makes it our best choice for applying one-step, cleaner/sealants like Klasse All-In-One, Menzeran One-Step, Acrylic Jacket and Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
To remove heavier oxidation and deeper swirls and scratches, use the Orange Power Polish Applicator. This is the same German foam used in our machine Power Pads. This remarkable foam has 85% of the cutting power of the Yellow Compounding foam yet finishes with minimal or no surface haze.     This pad can be used for whole vehicle polishing or for spot compounding to remove specific defects. I really like this pad with Menzerna Intensive Polish on conventional clear coats and BLACKFIRE Scratch Resistant Clear Compound on the harder, ceramic clear coats.
This pad creates so little haze that you can often go from compounding right to waxing or sealing without the intermediate polishing steps. Where polishing is still required (often on black and red cars), it can be accomplished in a fraction of the time by using a finishing polish (Menzerna Final Polish II, BLACKFIRE Gloss Enhancing Polish) with the Green Hand Polish Applicator.
The Yellow Hand Polish Applicator is the big gun. This foam has the most cutting power available in a foam and may create some surface dullness (haze). This is a great pad to use for spot compounding to remove specific paint defects. Use with Menzerna Intensive Polish, Meguiar's No. 2 or 3M Perfect-it Rubbing Compound to remove heavy oxidation, deeper scratches and water spots. This combination may produce some surface haze. The Yellow Polish Applicator should always be used as a last resort and plan on following with a finish polish to restore surface gloss. That said, this is an indispensable applicator to have in your detailing arsenal.
