The next best thing to having a detailer live in your garage!
Wouldn't it be great to have your car look "just detailed" every day? While most of us can't afford to have a live-in detailer, I have the next best solution.
This idea struck me while I was attending the Barrett Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale this year. During the week of the auction, cars are displayed in open-sided tents or parked in an open field. Before the cars are driven to the auctioneer's tent, they go to a staging area. There, they dust each vehicle with a California Car Duster and mist and wipe them with a quick detail spray. I was amazed at how fast the process went. I actually timed it. Dust the car with the duster - one minute. Mist and wipe with a quick detail spray - two to three minutes depending on the vehicle's size. The result was a vehicle that looked "just detailed". They were using Meguiar's No. 34 Final Inspection at Barrett Jackson but they were only concerned with the car looking good for 30 minutes.
This "Every Day Detail" is even faster and easier!
Instead of using a quick detail spray every day, I mist, wipe and buff with BLACKFIRE Deep Gloss (Spray) Sealant once a week. Deep Gloss Sealant removes light grime, fingerprints and smudges like a quick detail spray but it's actually a spray sealant. Used once a week, it renews that "Just Detailed" shine for a whole week, or more! Then I use the California Car Duster every morning to remove any dust or road films. That's one minute every day and about 3 minutes every seventh day to always drive a car that looks "Just Detailed!"
