Four Star Swirl Mark Remover:
Two polishes in one!
Four Star Swirl Mark Remover can
function as a light compound or a finishing polish. When applied with a circular
machine polisher and a wool pad, it becomes a light compound quickly removing
fine swirls, light scratches, mild oxidation and sanding defects. Four Star
Swirl Mark Remover contains no fillers. Defects are permanently removed not just
covered up.
Applied with a D-A or orbital polisher
(Porter Cable 7424) using an Orange Power Pad, Four Star Swirl Mark Remover
becomes a finishing polish. It quickly removes compounding haze and holograms
creating a uniform, high-gloss finish ready for the final wax or sealant.
| Pad recommendations for using with
a circular polisher:
Maximum Cut: Use our
41-345 or 41-355 Wool/Acrylic Compounding Pad
(most haze)
Best finish: Use a
7.5 inch CCS Black Foam Glazing Pad
(less haze) or an
8.5 inch CCS, Black Foam Glazing Pad.
Pad recommendations for using with a
D-A or orbital polisher:
Best results: Use a
CCS Orange Power Pad.

| Note to professional detailers
and body shops: Four Star Swirl Mark Remover may leave very light holograms and/or buffing
swirls when applied using a circular polisher with a wool pad. Most detailers and body shops feel the finish is acceptable but the
operator may go over the finish again with a black foam glazing pad to fully
remove any remaining buffer swirls or holograms. Do not use this polish with the
Orange Power Pad on a circular polisher. It generates too much heat causing the
polish to dry too quickly. We do
recommend using the Orange Power Pad with this polish if using a D-A or orbital
(Porter Cable 7424) polisher. Our tests confirm that wool pads do not adequately
brake down the polishing agents when applied with a D-A or orbital machine
polisher. |

Good results can be
obtained by hand or by using an orbital (Porter Cable 7424) polisher.
Maximum cutting power
will be realized with a D-A or circular machine polisher.
Four Star Swirl Mark
Remover is specially formulated to minimize pad build-up (caking). Most
vehicles can be polished with just one pad.
The light dusting
formula makes clean-up easier. |
