Grit Guard Insert
  Reduce washing swirls!
If you own a show car,
collector car, exotic, hot rod or any vehicle with black, red or dark color
paint, this is probably the best ten bucks you can spend. I can't tell you how
many phone calls and e-mails we get from people washing their vehicle and
putting swirls in the paint. Washing swirls are not directly caused by the
sponge, wash mitt or wash brush you're using. Swirls are caused by grit
(particles of sand) suspended in the wash water. Trapped between your wash mitt
and the car's finish, this grit acts like sandpaper on your car's clear coat
finish.

Reduce or eliminate these
swirls with the Grit GuardŽ Insert. This simple plastic grid sets in the
bottom of any 12 inch diameter bucket or pail (I like it best with a 5-gallon
pail). As your sponge, wash mitt or wash brush is rubbed against the Grit
Guard Insert, gravity causes grit and sand particles to settle to the
bottom of the pail.
Your wash water stays "scratch-free" clean! When
you're done washing, you'll be amazed at how much grit and grime has settled in
the bottom of your wash bucket.

In addition to washing cars,
boats, RV's and motorcycles, the Grit Guard Insert works great as a paint buddy
for cleaning your paint/wallpaper brush or as a grout sponge cleaner when
installing tile.
The Grit Guard Insert measures
10-1/8 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches high. Made from a strong, solvent
resistant plastic, the Grid Guard will last for years.
