Grip-It Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt Product review by Terry Freiberg
Like the Grip-It Microfiber Wash Pad which is reviewed separately, this companion Grip-It Microfiber Chenille Mitt knocked my socks off. Both the Grip-It Pad and this Grip-It Mitt is head and shoulders better than any other wash products I've ever used.
So, what's the big deal?
First, the mitt is made from Microfiber so we know they will not scratch any painted or clear coated finish. Microfiber is 100 times finer than a human hair. These strands are woven into hundreds of "fingers" about one inch long, that cover both sides of the mitt. These fingers hold mounds and mounds of soapy water. The mitt literally glides across the surface, picking up every particle of dirt and grime. This is the first product I've found that will give a natural sea sponge a run for it's money. I used both the Grip-It Mitt and the Grip-It Pad to wash a black vehicle that was covered with sand. Not one washing swirl!
The mitt measures 8-1/2 inches wide by 11 inches long. There is no thumb pocket so it's easy to rotate on your hand to expose a clean area.
After washing, rinse the mitt with a garden hose, squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry. Brake dust will stain the fibers which is why I dedicate the mitt for wheel cleaning.
If these products become excessively dirty, they can be machine washed with Micro Restore Microfiber Cleaner.
