Meguiar's #80 Speed Glaze delivers a swirl free finish and a rich, deep gloss on all paint systems. Packed with Meguiar's proprietary polishing oils, Speed Glaze increases the wetness and depth of paint prior to wax application. Like all Mirror Glaze products, M80 Speed Glaze was originally designed for professional users but has become a run-away hit with enthusiasts. Use Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze prior to wax or sealant application to remove fine swirl marks, compounding marks, or to protect uncured paint that cannot be waxed. When used with a Lake Country, White, CCS, Pad and a dual action or random orbital polisher, Speed Glaze will delivery a wax-ready surface with unequaled brilliance!
Net weight 32 oz.
Directions:
General - Wash and dry vehicle thoroughly. Inspect paint and, if necessary, use Blackfire's PolyClay II Clay Kit to restore a smooth feel to the paint and remove any bonded containments. We always recommend polishing a test section first to dial in the exact products and techniques needed. For use with a rotary polisher - Use #80 Speed Glaze with a Lake Country, Orange, CCS, Power Pad or White Polishing Pad to remove moderate swirl marks and defects in the paint. Wash and dry thoroughly and tape off all plastic and black trim. Draw a thin, 6-inch bead of polish on the paint and spread at low RPM. Work polish in even, overlapping passes at 1000-1500 rpm until a light film remains. Remove residues with a Microfiber cloth. For use with a dual-action or random orbital polisher - Use #80 Speed Glaze with a Lake Country, Orange, CCS, Power Pad or White Polishing Pad to remove moderate to light swirl marks and defects in the paint and produce a swirl free, high gloss finish. Draw a thin bead of polish across the face of the pad and spread at low speed. Increase speed to 4000-6000 OPM, and polish a section no larger then 2' x 2'. Use a firm pressure and slow arm speed. Work in overlapping passes until a light film remains. Remove residue with a Microfiber cloth. For use by hand - Apply #80 Speed Glaze by hand with a foam or Microfiber applicator pad and remove immediately. This method is great for protecting fresh, uncured paint that cannot be waxed yet. Application note - The rich polishing oils in #80 Speed Glaze are the same as found in Meguiars M07 Show Car Glaze. These oils can become difficult to remove if allowed to set up on the paint for too long. We strongly recommend removing the polishing residue after application before moving on to the next section.
