Klasse Concours kit for older vehicles.
A number of customers have contacted us who own an older vehicle with less than perfect paint. The finish on these cars are either showing a little age (chalky, dull paint) or contain some blemishes (stains, swirls, scratches). While Klasse All-In-One does contain a cleaner/polish in the formula, it is not designed to restore older finishes to like-new perfection. Depending on the paint's condition, it should be prepared by polishing before you apply Klasse All-in-One.
Don't panic! It's not that technical or difficult and the little extra work will reward you with a car that will look as good as the day it left the showroom.
Selecting a polish to work with Klasse All-In-One was a bit tricky. Almost all domestic polishes contain fillers to help hide swirls. Since All-In-One contains a mild cleaner/polish, it will remove these fillers which defeats some of the advantages of polishing. We found the polish that best complement Klasse to be Menzerna Final Polish II. This German polish does not contain any silicones or fillers which makes it the perfect polish for use with Klasse All-in-One.
Final Polish II is a breeze to apply and buff off by hand or with a machine. We include our best Power Scrubber Microfiber Applicator Pad for applying Final Polish by hand.
After polishing, finish with Klasse All-In-One.
All-In-One bonds to the surface like wax but doesn’t penetrate or change the paint in any way. It matches the depth and clarity of a high quality carnauba wax but lasts much longer. Two applications a year (maybe just one) will keep your car looking great.
You can also deepen the gloss and increase liquidity by going over the All-In-One with a quality carnauba wax. P21S Pure Carnauba Wax works great over All-In-One. This carnauba-wax-over-Klasse compliments dark color vehicles (black, red, dark blue). If using a top coating of carnauba do not use the High Gloss Sealant Glaze. This top coat of sealant or carnauba is not required. Klasse All-In-One is a final, protective coating that will last 6 months or more. This last "top coat" is for perfectionists, like me, that want that illusive, "perfect shine."
