Island Wool Sea Sponges are extremely soft textured, like lamb's fleece, yet
are unusually strong, durable and absorbent. These Wool Sea Sponges can absorb
twenty-five times their own weight in water. Harvested in the deepest waters of
the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Tarpon Springs, Florida, these sponges greatly reduce surface scratching by absorbing
loosened dirt and grime into itself, away from the surface being washed.
Unlike synthetic sponges which never fully expel trapped
dirt and grime, these natural sea sponges are self-cleaning, actually becoming
cleaner with each use. This is the perfect sponge for washing your car, boat,
truck or RV.
Note: These sponges are acid washed prior to
shipping but should be rinsed again before first time use to expel any trapped
sand or shell particles.
