Traditional car washing using two five gallon buckets and lots of free running rinse water can consume as much as sixty gallons of water! Optimum No Rinse and Shine uses about three gallons for an average sized vehicle. If you choose to splurge and use a second bucket to rinse the wash mitt, then you can expect to use about ten gallons. This is important if you live in an area where water usage is restricted, or if you need to wash your car in the garage. Of course Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine works equally well on R.V.s, motorcycles, watercraft, and air planes. 

Simply add water to a bucket with the recommended amount of Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine, about one ounce for every gallon of water. Load a soft microfiber, sponge, or wash mitt with the solution and wipe the surface clean. Dry with a plush microfiber to a clean streak and swirl free finish. Wash and dry a section at a time. The polymers that bond to the paint during the washing process remain behind, adding substantial protection and gloss to the paint's surface. It could be argued that frequent washing with Optimum No Rinse and Shine will be all the protection that your paint will ever need. If you feel the need to add more protection, wiping the surface with Optimum Spray Wax as you dry will provide a deep shine and carnauba protection.
