Wheel Wax
Wheel Wax earns two thumbs up!
We scour the major trade shows
looking for new products but many new items come to us from you, our customers. Wheel
Wax is one such product. It was recommended to us by Brian D. who went so
far as to send me a jar. I really do test and evaluate every product sent to us.
I actually built a little table in my garage for samples waiting to be
evaluated. I had to get them off my desk!
I wash my car every Saturday.
During my Saturday morning ritual, I noticed some black spots on my wheels.
There were only 3 or 4 of them, ranging in size from 1/8 to about 1/4 inch. I
sprayed the wheel with Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner and brushed with my
wheel brush. The wheels cleaned up beautifully but the spots remained. I thought
the spots might be tar so I sprayed them with Stoner Tarminator and brushed
repeatedly with a nylon detail brush. Nope, spots still there! I tried to remove
the spots with my fingernail but couldn't. The surface was smooth. I couldn't
feel any material on the wheel. I honestly thought a stone might have chipped
the surface revealing some kind of black substrate.
After washing my car, I
inspected my sample table where I noticed Brian's jar of Wheel Wax. I read the
instructions where it said to apply to dirty wheels but, as I had already washed
my car, decided to use it on my clean wheels as a protectant. I put a little
Wheel Wax on a Terry Applicator Pad (listed separately below) and wiped it over the wheel. The spots
immediately disappeared! I was blown away. These were the same spots that I
couldn't remove with a nylon brush and tar remover. And I didn't rub on the
Wheel Wax. I just wiped it on the surface as I would a wax. Very impressive. I
followed the instructions and let Wheel Wax dry to a haze and buffed the wheel
with a dry Terry cloth. My wheels never looked better. Even caked-on brake dust
around the air valve stems disappeared.

The manufacturer says Wheel
Wax will remove all manner of brake dust, road grime and salt residues leaving a
great protective shine. I can testify it did just that.
Wheel Wax is safe for all
wheels, painted, anodized, polished or clear coated. Just wipe it on, let it dry
to a haze and wipe it off. For maximum shine, rinse the wheels with cool water
and buff to a high shine.

Wheel Wax claims to make
future wheel cleaning easier by resisting brake dust build-up. The following
week, I was able to clean my Audi A6's wheels with just soap and water. I had
never been able to do that before.
Two thumbs up!
Application Tip:
Our Multi-task, Microfiber Applicator Pads work great with Wheel Wax.

|
If your wheels have narrow
slots, use our Foam
Popsicles to apply Wheel Wax. After the wax dries, wrap a
cloth around the foam tip and use it to buff off residues.

Customer Comments:
" Just a few
lines to let you know that Wheel Wax is what you claim. I let my wheels go
for three weeks and they had Vermont sand, salt and brake dust I really
did not think the wax would remove. Was I in for a surprise. Wheel Wax
removed all the grime and the brake dust stains were gone. Will buy again.
Richard M., Jay, Vermont
"My order arrived
today and I just used Wheel Wax on the wheels of my wife's PT Cruiser.
There were some areas of stubborn brake residue that I couldn't get off
with wheel cleaners and a brush. With just a little bit of rubbing, the
wheels are as good as new and look great. The product goes on and comes
off easily and leaves the wheel clean and shiny. I would not hesitate to
recommend this product."
Peter B., Lebanon, OH
"Wheel Wax does a surprisingly good job of cleaning and adds a deep,
rich shine to my chrome wheels. It requires very little effort to apply
and you use so little that one container will last a very long time. A
great product.

Wheel Wax on Motorcycles!
I've used this product for
years on my car's wheels and never thought to use it on my Harley. After all, it
isn't a "bike" product.
A visit from Bruce Stover, the
creator of Wheel Wax, set me straight. I now use Wheel Wax on my bike every 6 to
8 weeks and can't imagine life without it. Not only is Wheel Wax great for
keeping my bike's wheels clean, it's ideal for use on the front forks or any
metal surface that's bombarded with road grime and bugs. Treated surfaces resist
bug and grime build-up making future cleaning a breeze.
The first time you use Wheel
Wax, apply it to the wheels, forks and any metal surface that doesn't get hot.
(Do not use Wheel Wax on engine casings or exhaust pipes.) Simply wipe on and
buff off. The next time you clean your bike, just use soap and water or a mild
cleaner like S100 Total Cycle Cleaner. Brake dust and oily grime that normally
required aggressive scrubbing now wipes off with a damp sponge or cloth. Wheel
Wax actually prevents the bonding of surface contaminants to the wheel's finish.
The dust and grime is on the surface but it's not "glued-on". A sponge
or cloth with soapy water is all you need to make your bike sparkling clean.
|
| It's the same with your
front tree. Bugs just won't stick to a Wheel Waxed surface. Just wipe the
forks with soapy water and watch the bug residues disappear!
Wheel Wax is safe for
all metal surfaces, chrome, anodized, painted or clear coated. Once you
use it, you'll wonder how you got along without it.
