A spray-on stone guard!
This product comes
highly recommended by my son, Jon. Jon has a passion for riding his Jeep
through the surf on beaches around the Florida coastline.
Unfortunately, sun,
sand and salt water was taking a toll on his Jeep's undercarriage. Rust was
cropping up everywhere.
A local body shop recommended spraying the wheel wells and underbody with Wurth
Stone Guard Black.

This is a permanent yet flexible rubber-plastic
coating for underbody and rocker panel applications. It forms a hard,
textured surface that helps prevent chipping and abrasions caused by
stones and road debris. Stone Guard Black seals out moisture, inhibits the
formation of rust and can be painted over if desired to match the body
color.
Jon told me he first
cleaned his Jeep's wheel wells and underbody using Eimann Fabrik High
Intensity Cleaner, Wurth Clean Solve and our long handle Tire & Wheel
Brush. After cleaning, he sprayed the entire underbody with Stone Guard
Black. It required two cans to cover the entire underbody of his Jeep and
two more cans to spray all four wheel wells.
It's now been four
months after his initial application. Jon still runs the coastline and
hasn't seen any evidence of new rust formation or previous rust
breakthrough. A happy ending for Jon and his Jeep. |

Usage Note:
Shake can vigorously before using
until ball inside can rattles freely. Shake occasionally during usage. To
self-clean nozzle, shake can vigorously, turn can upside down and spray
for 4 to 5 seconds to clear nozzle. Apply 2 to 3 even coats for full
coverage allowing 5 minutes between coats. Over-spray can be removed with Wurth
Clean Solve.
